Anime Midwest 2026
Anime Midwest is one of the largest anime conventions in the Midwest, held annually in Rosemont, just outside of Chicago. Known for its high-energy atmosphere and massive lineup of activities, it’s a weekend packed with nonstop anime, gaming, and fandom experiences.
For members attending, Anime Midwest offers something for everyone. You can check out industry panels, fan-run discussions, cosplay contests, and live performances, along with a huge exhibitor hall and artist alley filled with unique merch and artwork. The convention is especially popular for its themed events, including late-night programming, concerts, dances, and interactive experiences that keep the excitement going well into the night.
Anime Midwest typically takes place over three days in July and draws thousands of fans from across the region. It’s a great mix of large-scale convention energy with plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow fans and creators.
For Rintaki Anime Club Society members, this event is a perfect chance to travel together, experience one of the Midwest’s biggest anime gatherings, and bring back new ideas, inspiration, and connections to share with the club.
